About Me

Hi!

My name is Lauren and I have created www.iamtired.org to help tired people such as yourself to find information and support, hopefully also potential causes and solutions to your tiredness.

I am 29 and am privileged to live in a beautiful part of Australia. I live with my gorgeous 1 year old daughter – we will call her Miss M, and my amazingly supportive fiance – we will call him Mr A!

I have always had an intense interest in the human body and how it functions – also how so many factors can affect its function. After a very long and interesting journey, I have found myself studying a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) with the future intention of becoming a practising naturopath. I have already completed a massage qualification, and am continually reading to increase my knowledge of the human body and the complex array of environmental, emotional and physical factors that influence our health. I now work as a relaxation massage therapist, which I thoroughly enjoy.

I guess I have a particular interest in sleep and tiredness as I feel that I have always lacked energy and have always felt tired. As my knowledge of natural health increases I am personally improving my sleep and energy levels via many different techniques including supplements, environmental factors, lifestyle changes and so on. It is such a complex subject- and so fascinating!

Being an avid party-goer in my pre-baby days I thought that being hungover and going to work the next day was the epitome of tiredness….. That all changed when I had Miss M! Being a new mum is like a whole different level of tiredness that you can’t even explain until you have experienced it! I can’t imagine what it would be like to have twins!

I welcome you to my site and hope that you find a little piece of information or a particular product that can assist you in living a better quality life both night and day.

Sweet dreams,

Lauren :)
